**#TransformingLives #JordanPower #QuantumReality #MusicHealing #Psychedelics #Consciousness**

Welcome back to Transforming Lives, the podcast where we dive deep into stories of radical change, inner alchemy, and the breakthroughs that rewrite our reality. I’m Charmaine Prince, joined by my co‑host Mitzi DeDune, and today we’re honored to sit down with a truly multitalented force of nature—Jordan Power.

Jordan’s journey reads like a modern‑day hero’s myth: a seasoned media professional, columnist, and founder of the world’s first all‑in‑one legal‑marketing firm who, after a series of career pivots and a painful bout with ulcerative colitis, faced a profound loss that sent him spiraling toward Bali. There, a chance encounter with a spiritual healer named Dina sparked a revelation that his soul had once been a musician—a past‑life calling that he’d been forced to ignore.

What follows is a whirlwind of synchronicities, breathwork, sound healing, and a week of deep spiritual practice that cracked open his consciousness. Suddenly, Jordan’s “higher self” took the driver’s seat: within minutes he could write and record songs that now stream millions of times worldwide, all while his health healed from the inside out.

In today’s conversation we’ll explore:

  • The “cardboard beach” concept and the creative spark behind it.
  • How a week in Bali ignited a cascade of synchronicities that aligned his life with his true purpose.
  • The role of psychedelics—ketamine, psilocybin, and 5‑MeO‑DMT (Bufo)—in dissolving ego and accelerating his transformation.
  • Jordan’s shift from a victim mindset to a channel of universal consciousness, and how he now teaches others to rewrite their own realities.
  • The fusion of his eclectic musical influences—EDM, indie pop, pop‑rock—into a sound that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.

Get ready for an inspiring, unfiltered look at how a conscious “quantum reset” can turn pain into power, and how one man is now living proof that when we align with source energy, the universe hands us the mic. Stay tuned—Jordan’s story might just be the catalyst you need to step into your own next chapter.

Sharmin Prince
Welcome to another episode of the Transforming Lives panel podcast. I'm one of your hosts, Sharmin Prince.

Mitzy Dadoun
And I'm your other host, Mitzi Dadoun. And we have a guest with us today, Jordan Power, who we will introduce more after we do our breathing.

Sharmin Prince
Excellent. So just join us for a brief breathing and grounding exercise by taking a Deep breath in, through your nose, hold that breath, feel it, and let it go through your mouth. Again, another deep inhale, and exhale. In, and out.

And on this inhale, Just hold it for a moment and think of the things that serve you today. And as you exhale, let go of everything that didn't serve you. And take the final deep inhale and let it go. Thank you for taking the time to read with us so that we can be grounded and centered.

And as Missy introduced her guest, Jordan Power, Jordan left us a very short bio, but trust me, there is more to him than that. Jordan is an LGBTQ plus artist, songwriter, and entrepreneur whose life story reads like a memoir of survival, transformation, and self-discovery. Jordan, welcome to the Transforming Lives podcast.

Jordan Power
Thanks for having me on. I love starting a podcast with some breathing. That was lovely.

Sharmin Prince
Ooh, yes. Thank you for being here. And I am excited to hear about your transformation. Of course, I was forced to your website and I saw that you read decades.

Uh, suck full polymath as a producer, a columnist, an entrepreneur. even building the world's first cardboard beach. Now we need to know about that. What was the inspiration and what is this cardboard beach?

Jordan Power
Well, I will give you, I guess, a bit of a longer bio. So I was born under a different name, Jordan Whalen. I had a career in media for about 12 years. I worked in television and radio, and I had a newspaper column, and I started a marketing firm called Grey Smoke Media, which is now the only all-in-one legal marketing firm in the world.

And I was on this circuitous journey of trying to figure out why I was on Earth. I just kind of had this fire in me and this burning desire to become something greater. And I tried all these different things because I just was trying to find it. And I was having a really good time and life was great.

Then, about a year and a half ago, my dog passed away, and I went to Bali and a couple other places, trying to find myself. I met a woman in a tent, and her name was Dina. She was a sort of spiritual healer, medium. kind of woman and I was completely unconscious at this point.

I think when you are a gay man, you traditionally are quite averse to anything religious because you think you're being judged or you think they're not going to approve of you. And so I had kind of tied spirituality with all religions and I just sort of pulled back from it all and I decided I didn't really believe in anything or I didn't believe why I was on earth or I didn't believe what happens when you die. I just was completely shut off to all of it. And I went into the tent and she looked at me and the first thing that she said to me was, The reason that you are here is because you were a musician in your past life, but you took your own life because you couldn't handle it.

And so you've reincarnated to make it right this time. And at this point, I don't believe in anything. So obviously you can imagine, I thought it was quite risible. And I sort of looked at her like, huh?

And then opened my heart and opened my mind and spent about a week trying all kinds of modalities, healing, sound healing, talking to my seven-year-old self, breath work, and just let it happen, let it flow, the path. And at the end of the week, I came back to Canada, where I lived at the time, and I turned to my mom and I said, I think I'm going to go make music now. I think I'm going to go make an album." And my mom's thinking, like, you know, you've tried all these other things in life, but like, you have no experience with music. You have no experience singing, writing, anything.

And I just knew in my heart, my intuition, I had this burning desire to do this. And so I spent about three weeks making my first album. There was a moment right before I started the album where I'd started to become more spiritually connected and I was raising my consciousness where I was sitting on my couch and trying to write up my first song. And I realized at the time what I was doing is I was trying to write it for my limited human mind.

And once I was able to get centered and align with my higher self, the song came out of me in maybe 10, 20 minutes, just the whole thing, all the words, just a complete out-of-body experience, and went into the recording studio and felt this feeling of nerves, but this feeling like I was home and that I belonged there, and that I almost recognized it, and I knew what to do, and I was kind of producing, and something just came over me where I just became this person. And so that was last June. The first month I had like 400 listeners to my first five songs.

And since then I have released 20 songs and I think I'm at about 5 million streams right now for my music.

Sharmin Prince
I know I read part of it. So hearing it from you, it's, it's just fascinating. Were you aware when the switch occur? Yes.

Okay. Tell us about that.

Jordan Power
I started to see synchronicities after the week in Bali. I remember on the airplane, it was like I was coming online. It was like someone took my brain and cracked it open, and I was just this different person. I would think about something or think of a thought, and then I would see it on a TV show that I was watching on the plane.

Or I would think of a person, and they would message me right away. And I just was connected to sort of the oneness that we're all connected to, the universe, the web, the quantum web, let's say. And at the time, I was so new to everything that I was starting to teach myself energy, vibration, the work of Nikola Tesla, and just quickly diving into different spiritual teachers. I'm an autodidact.

I'm a bit of a nerd. So I like to just go all in and I had gone all in on these previous careers and that was how I was able to make them happen. But at the time, I didn't realize what I was actually doing with the other careers that I did with this career. And it's that we are shifting through infinite parallel realities all day long.

And we don't even realize we're doing it. And we don't realize that we're, well, I say we, like you guys probably know, but a lot of people don't realize why they're on earth. They're a spiritual being having a human experience. And we are consciousness.

We are behind our thoughts and our awareness. And as I started to sort of disidentify with the body, identify with the ego, I started to just feel this warmth, unconditional love, and it took over me. And as I started to kind of go about my old life, things in front of me started to change, the types of people that would come into my reality, the types of connections. But with music, because I think it is my highest purpose and the reason I am on earth and the reason I did incarnate here, it's been a dizzying experience, but it's been the most beautiful experience of my life in the sense that it has been so easy.

So many other things in my life were hard and I had to kind of force them. And with this, it was almost complete divine order. The synchronicities, the people that I met, the songs, the ideas, they were just coming to me in dreams, or they would just show up in my reality. And I got to the point where I was with no musical experience, writing songs that are now on the radio in 10 minutes.

And I found it extremely easy because I wasn't doing it from the limited human mind. I was doing it from the universal consciousness and Source, Universe, God, however people want to refer to it. I was almost downloading them. And it's been an amazing experience.

I guess I would call myself sort of a channeler, but I haven't been able to really turn the faucet off since I started.

Sharmin Prince
What led you to travel to Bali?

Jordan Power
The death of my dog and sort of feeling it was just post-COVID and I had done a bunch of things. I had a podcast with my friend that was quite successful and I sort of had tried everything. I'd exhausted every option. And when my dog passed away, I had nothing more in me to Canada at that point.

And because I own an online business, I can kind of work from anywhere. And I actually initially went to Thailand, which is a place I've been five times. I love the islands of Thailand. I have this deep connection, which I think is a past life to Thailand, the Thai people, the food, everything.

So I initially went to Thailand. And then I was drawn to a men's retreat in the mountains of Bali that showed up on my synchronicity, showed up in my reality. And I went to it. It was sort of a men's entrepreneur retreat in the mountains of Bali.

And I went there, and then a friend of mine who I met at the retreat said, hey, we should really go to Ubud, which is a place in Bali. That's where they do a lot of healing. Do you want to come with me? And it was like the universe was just guiding me at that point.

I said, yes, I got there. They said, you got to meet Dina. I said, sure, who's Dina? Met her.

And then had this conversation with her. And since then, it's just been a perfect alignment of divine order to take me to this point where My music career has really taken off in a short period of time, and it's my greatest joy. And I think so much in life, we try to force things, or we aren't comfortable with understanding why things don't work out. And I used to just get angry when I wouldn't get a date or get a business transaction and stuff like that.

And now that I've kind of sat in Source Energy, understanding how reality works, I'm just at a new kind of peace. And I've combined that obviously with some psychedelics in the process too.

Mitzy Dadoun
So prior to going to ballet and sort of having the conversation where she said that you You know, we're reincarnated and that there was music there had music being part of your life in some form or another prior to that.

Jordan Power
Yes, I mean, it had been kind of my best friend. And, you know, most people can say that it's been the thing I've leaned on my whole life. And, you know, I would say also that, like, when you're a music fan, you start to recognize patterns. And a lot of what's driving my songwriting is not just the connection to the universe and channeling the music, not trying to force it.

But it's also having an understanding of patterns and songwriting and melodic patterns and syncopation. and having certain different types of music that I enjoy. And so when I was going to create the music, it was like I was kind of borrowing from the things that I grew up with. There's a bit of EDM in my music, a bit of indie pop, some pop rock now.

And so I'm sort of borrowing from the things that I loved. But it was never something that I really was like going to pursue the career or I didn't even know if I could sing. But there was a moment my mom said when I was 19, I said to her, I feel like I want to go to California and make music and I want to be a music producer. And it never worked out.

And of course, because it's not meant to be. And six months ago, I moved to California for my music career.

Mitzy Dadoun
And now it feels like the timing was right and the flow is making it happen.

Jordan Power
Yeah, because, you know, if I had tried to do this when I was 25, I was a very broken person. I was a very sick person. I had a disease called ulcerative colitis that I suffered from from the time I was 18 till about 35. And it was brutal.

I was in none of the hospitals. I was quite sick. I was on all kinds of medication. And part of what also helped me not only did I assume the state of being of a person that was a good songwriter and shift into that quantum reality but actually what helped me stop being sick when I was quite sick at the end point really of my

disease where they were going to do surgery on me I had a friend of mine that cured his ulcerative colitis naturally he got the chemicals out of his house but um just sort of worked on consciousness work, like Joe Dispenza. And so what happened was, when I saw what happened with him, it was in my realm of possibilities. And so I assumed the new state of being of a sick person. I no longer identified as sick.

I no longer went on the forums. I lived my life like I was healed. And as I did that, I became healed in the same way as the music. And so over the past little while, I've been trying to really understand how reality works and reality shifting works and manifestation.

And now that I kind of look back in hindsight of how this all unfolded, I am now kind of coaching people about how to shift to a new reality and how to become a new person because they've seen what I've been able to do through my music and my health.

Sharmin Prince
Beautiful.

Mitzy Dadoun
I was going to ask, what's been the biggest, I guess, surprise or thing that you didn't expect as you've gone through this process?

Jordan Power
The music or my health?

Mitzy Dadoun
Both, either.

Jordan Power
How powerful I am. and how powerful we all are, and how we are a consciousness. We are not a human body. We are not humans.

We are energy. We are unconditional love. And I have learned that's our default state. And actually just a little while ago, I I did a combo and what's called 5-MeO-DMT, which is also known as BUFO, which is the most powerful psychedelic in the world.

And after I did that, it kind of confirmed a lot of my priors about what reality is and why we're here and the polarity and the contrast. And I've been able to look back at my life, which included my father leaving, being gay, being bullied for being gay, having two best friends betray me, having a business partner betray me, a really grueling existence. And I've been able to look back at it and see how it all served me. and how it led me to this point.

And I've been able to find the beauty in all the pain and the struggle and reject victimhood and understand that I am the creator of my experience. And that's really something that took me a really long time because my ego was so rooted in being this person that had to struggle, that had to suffer. And as I identified with that over and over, I began to attract that energy and continue to create those sort of experiences in my reality.

Sharmin Prince
Jordan, as I listened to you, I am hearing the impact on your belief system, on your value system, on your identity to become that authentic person. What percentage of that transformation would you say the psychedelics had on it?

Jordan Power
That's a very good question. I would say that if I had to assign a percentage to it, I would say probably 30%. You know, there are people that reach levels of enlightenment and peace, and they do that without the use of these substances. And I do refer to them as medicine.

I know some people call them drugs because they I would say the largest utility of them is in the dissolution of the ego. We are recreating stories. We're creating patterns. Instead of living from the present moment, we are living in the past, which is really what a lot of depression is, or the

Mitzy Dadoun
future.

Jordan Power
the anxiety. And what they've been able to do is hold moments up for me that were very traumatic and allow me to process them and integrate them into my being and to see only how they served me, not how they happened to me or how I was a victim. And they've allowed me to have a catharsis through crying and screaming. You know, they say in psychology, the only way out is through.

And I think without proper facilitators, psychologists, spiritual healers, and the psychedelics, I wouldn't be where I am right now. I would still be a confused person who was promiscuous, who was dating people that weren't good for me, who had friendships that weren't serving me. And now, particularly in the past two months, I walk through the world with a peace, and I know that it's okay to just be. And that's so hard for so many people to understand because, you know, they don't get the thing they want and then they freak out and I understand that it's all unfolding for for my greater good.

And so, you know, I advocate for certain people doing them and they all they all are. They serve different purposes. You know, I did ketamine therapy here in California, and that serves a different purpose for me than, say, mushrooms or the Bufo, the 5-MeO-DMT. They all kind of act in a different way, but I would say like the through line of all of it.

is detaching from the old stories and the old belief systems. And that's been really, really important for me because so often, you know, something happens to us and then we are pulled back to the moment where it happened in the past. And we go, Oh, look, it's happening again. I remembered this and we hold onto the pain.

And as we energize the pain and we energize the thoughts, which is what Eckhart Tolle talks a lot about, we energize them. Those start to come in our reality more and more. And we see these patterns over and over. But the inverse of that is if we are able to not latch onto thoughts and energize them, then on a quantum level, the particles can't rearrange to create a new reality, which doesn't serve us.

And so when I say that we are so much more powerful than we're led to believe, that's what I'm hinting at.

Sharmin Prince
Thank you. I'm listening to you, and I hear your transformation. The way you are presenting, the way you are articulating your experience, it's like a professional.

Jordan Power
Oh,

Sharmin Prince
thank

Jordan Power
you.

Sharmin Prince
That's a compliment. You're welcome. So my question is, what propelled you to that level, because yes, I understand the transformation in Bali. You mentioned some of my favorite authors, Dr. Joe Dispencer, Eckhart Tolle.

And so how did you get from being a victim experiencing your transformation and now have this ability to articulate, to share and just not share verbally, but share it energetically.

Jordan Power
Yeah.

Sharmin Prince
Thank you so much, Jordan.

Jordan Power
Thanks for having me on. I really appreciate it.

Mitzy Dadoun
Thanks so much. Our listeners are going to get some really cool insights to this, and I'm sure they will be listening to your music and your podcast. And thank you so much for sharing some time with us and giving us some insight into finding peace and serenity.

Jordan Power
Thanks guys. Really appreciate having me on.
